SCCI is currently seeking energetic and motivated Navy Instructors to join our team in San Diego, CA. Positions for which we are seeking candidates are: SQS-53D Instructor and WSC 6(v) 7 SHF Instructor. For more details please review the job descriptions below.
SQS- 53D Instructor:
Position Summary:
Position incumbent will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be responsible for conducting Instructor Led Training in the Operation and Maintenance of the AN/SQS-53D course of instruction. He/She may be called upon to assist in curriculum development while working with field system engineers providing input to the future design of the AEGIS Weapon System.
Responsibilities include delivering group-paced instruction with lectures followed by practical work sessions in a formal training environment. The selected applicant will be responsible for teaching one or more of the following courses:
AN/SQS-53D Sonar System Maintenance (CIN: K-130-1160) AN/UQN-4/4A Fathometer Maintenance (CIN: K-130-0074) AN/WQC-2/2A (Underwater Comms) Maintenance (CIN: K-130-0213Essential Skills and Experience:
Required NECs: 9502, 05153+ years of experience in SQS-53D equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on a U.S. Navy surface vesselPreferred Skills and Experience:
Active Secret security clearanceMaster Training Specialist Formal Navy instructor experience, classroom and labSHF Instructor:
