IAS is seeking an experienced Congressional Affairs specialist to support the Navy program office responsible for procuring and fielding aircraft carriers.

This is a journeyman level position requiring a minimum of two years of experience in DoD Congressional Affairs, with specialized experience in Navy Shipbuilding being highly desirable.

This is an on-site position on the staff of the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers, and is located at the Washington Navy Yard. The incumbent of this position will provide the organization with awareness of Congressional matters, including schedule, items of interest and opportunities. It requires a great amount of professionalism and reliability. The incumbent will provide liaison with the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations and attend meetings in the local area with a modest amount of out-of-area travel.

This position requires a DoD security clearance at the secret level.
