NOTE: Located in Pax River, MD Navy Business Manager Goodrich Sensors & Integrated Systems has an opening for a business manager with responsibility for execution of development and production contracts with NAVAIR as well as identifying and helping capture new opportunities. This position will be located around the Patuxent River Navy Aviation base in Maryland, and reports into the Vergennes, VT facility, where existing contracts are executed. This position will support all 4 Sensor & Integrated System businesses in pursuit of new opportunities. Specific Duties involve: Managing active programs Goodrich Vergennes has with NAVAIR to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance to satisfy customer needs. This will involve coordinating and orchestrating efforts within Goodrich and being the business and Program Authority face to NAVAIR. 1. Build relationships and strategy to grow our business with follow on support and production on existing contracts. This will involve keeping the programs sold throughout the Navy community including engineering, logistics, requirements as well as the PM organizations. 2. Identify product areas, future programs, and capture strategies for new pursuits. 3. Help Goodrich gain favorable positions with OEMs, by helping us understand key attributes that are desired by NAVAIR for the products and systems we are proposing to OEMs that supply aircraft to NAVAIR. 4. Provide support to other Goodrich divisions with their interface into NAVAIR to make yourself more visible/valuable to the customer and to help other divisions grow their own business. 5. Manage a small team of people at PAX River that coordinate program execution. Experience and Education Desired: 1. Successful track record as a PM and Business Development person. 2. A military aviation background with experience with Navy Requirements & Budget process. A background knowledge of Navy Logistics and Maintenance would be helpful. 3. B.S. in Engineering or Physical Sciences with MBA preferred. B.S. in Engineering, or Physical Sciences with MBA preferred. RESPOND HERE!
