Do you have experience with Naval ship HM&E systems? Kelly Engineering is in search of a highly motivated individual to perform a variety of engineering tasks. This position requires a demonstrated mastery level of knowledge of HM&E systems, with full understanding of operational performance, reliability, maintainability, logistics, interoperability and human interface, gained from career senior enlisted (E7 and above) officer service. A candidate must have demonstrated leadership, organizational and communications skills. Must have the ability to lead task groups and provide technical guidance and leadership to personnel with diverse backgrounds. Must have experience in evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, and improving systems, procedures and requirements. Must have demonstrated knowledge of current developments and trends in naval ship systems concepts and technology. Must have detailed knowledge of the major characteristics of systems, including systems coexistence, interfaces, and interoperability. May require the ability to obtain and retain specific security clearances as well as full or partial radiation worker qualifications. This job is for a top-level systems operations expert demonstrating a broad knowledge of hull, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as military management infrastructure and processes. Duties may include: -Provides authoritative knowledge of components, structures and systems from a technical and operational perspective. -Provides unique insight to the operation, integration, and design and life cycle requirements of systems, to influence decisions regarding systems' research, development, design, construction and operations. -Plays integral role in concurrent engineering, applying unique understanding of components' and systems' operational performance, reliability, maintainability, logistics, interoperability and human interface. -Engaged in development and measurement of appropriate standards; the design of systems, processes and equipment; preparation of layouts and specifications; review of design proposals and drawings; etc. -Provides engineering expertise to the development of technical specifications, requisition and bid documents, inspection and testing requirements, etc. -Provides authoritative knowledge of defense procurement and management infrastructure and processes. -Develops and maintains critical relationships with key personnel and organizations, providing unique understanding of, and access to defense research, engineering, procurement and operations management functions. -May serve as a technical interface with customer, shipyard and partner organizations engaged in concurrent planning, engineering and integrated product design. -May assist management in the development of short and long-term business plans as they relate to area of responsibility.
