Some of our target locations include Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA and New York, NY. If you are not located in one of these metropolitan areas, but are qualified for the position we will consider your application as well.   This person must have a minimum 3-5 years of Sales management experience in the Information technology market.  The right candidate must also possess the following skills: Roles and responsibilities: Driving and motivating a veteran sales team Set performance expectations with sales team Ongoing joint sales calls with team Develop Strategic and tactical business plans Calling on C level  management customers Calling on end-user customers Develop and grow channel partners Thorough understanding of products sold Thorough understanding of software partners and associated products On-going communication with product management team Handling of product price quotes Thorough understanding of commission structure On-going communication with sales team Skill RequirementsProven sales leadership abilityProven sales performance  track record3-5 years direct management of a sales teamStrong analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsInformation technology related experienceEastern U.S. experienceExcellent presentation skillsMinimum 5 years experience calling on end-usersExperience calling on c level managersProficient with all Microsoft office applicationsAt least 50-60% travel is required
