Our Client is a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) group and a full service provider of turnkey solutions for companies looking to improve supply chain performance and meet strict Electronic Product Code (EPC) compliance mandates made by large retailers and the government. As an RFID industry leader, they offer the most comprehensive solutions available. The industries include industrial, automotive, material handling, food processing, household chemical, consumer products, biomedical, electronics, chemical, and auto aftermarket. In business for 30 years, this company offers custom specification development capabilities and many innovative products and services.

The National Account Manager will be responsible for sales delivery and sales support of the company’s RFID systems and applications in the above vertical markets within a five-state territory:  Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.

Primary responsibilities

§         Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations and/or prototypes of customer-tailored product

§         Provide on-going technical support to prospective customers including training, examples programming, third-party software integration, trouble-shooting and best practices consulting

§         Convey customer product feedback to company applications and systems development team

§         Proactively solicit targeted accounts via the phone to generate new business

§         Qualify potential accounts

§         Follow up on inquiries, job status, information requests an/or samples

§         Expedite quotations until completion

§         Gain product knowledge in effort to assist customers with new and existing applications

§         Act as a liaison between customers and production group

§         Attend trade shows as needed

 

Knowledge & Skill requirements

§         Bachelor’s degree- -Business/ Systems Analysis of Supply Chain Management applications and Systems

§         Technical proficiency with Alien, Matrix, Samsus a plus

§         Minimum 5-10 years experience in the sales or consulting of real-time, large-scale enterprise application software in the areas of logistics or supply-chain management

§         Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

§         Consumable goods sales and existing client list, background in labeling/packaging industry and experience in RFID Material Handling a plus
