Newsmax Media Inc. is looking for a National Sales Manager in our New York office.  We publish a monthly national news magazine.  With strong subscription and advertising sales growth, we are now staffing our Madison Avenue office.  The successful hire will call on national brand advertisers and their representing agencies to secure multi-buy advertising schedules.  The National Sales Manager will be expected to have an established network of contacts that will accelerate the buying cycle.  Our company is a multi-media leader with diverse opportunities for advertising clients.    

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Generating profitable sales revenue and meeting or exceeding sales quota in specific products. Identifies, qualifies, calls on and establishes long-term business relationships Continually building a strong sales pipeline of well qualified revenue opportunities Works collaboratively with sales personnel from home office Manage and maintain sales reports, pipelines and forecasts Moderate travel is required

 

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:

Requires excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Strong presentation, analytical, and negotiating skills Ability to build and manage customer relationships Achieves desired results in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment Ability to interact with various management levels, including senior staff Strong solutions sales experience and a proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas. Able to travel within a specified geography Results oriented.
