Clinical Operations Manager
Master's degree in business (or related field) with a minimum of three years experience in physician practice management and three years of Pediatric health care experience, or a BS degree in business or public administration and 5 years in physician practice management and three years of Pediatric health care experience. Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories and terminology of accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial management or investment processes. Must be knowledgeable of clinical operations and practice management to include oversight with scheduling, coding, billing & collections (reimbursements) account receivable and denial statistics; the development and maintenance of clinical budgets by (subspecialty). Facilitating an active liaison role with affiliate support teams is critical. Must be able to develop and provide clear analysis and concise reports. Spine Services Coordinator- LPN
Assist with exams, procedures, treatments & instruct patient as ordered by M.D. regarding treatment and/or medication. Maintain timely flow of patients, schedule appointments & referrals based on urgency & availability. Communicate plan of care to patient including formal development of patient education materials as appropriate. Coordinate flow of spine patients through the department of Neurosciences, follow scheduled procedures & address patient satisfaction concerns. Cross-train to cover Spine PA's & NP's during vacation or extended leave. Work with research coordinators to ensure inclusion of study subjects, if they qualify. The Dept. of Neurosciences is searching for a Practice Manager. The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree with 2 years of experience or HS diploma or Equivalent & 4/5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of CPT/ICD9 coding required; CPT certification preferred. Extensive knowledge of IDX (one year minimum), Keane & EMR software OACIS, Practice Partner, Access Anywhere preferable, third party reimbursement, insurance, coding training, charge entry and /or financial counseling background required.
