The Wells Fargo Reverse Mortgage Consultant is responsible for creating awareness and demand for Reverse Mortgages. The ideal candidate is empathetic to the unique needs of Seniors and passionate about helping them achieve their financial goals. Our Reverse Consultants begin with a 3-month forgivable draw and after that, we have a 100% draw against commission plan. Duties may include: - Producing high quality loans which meet Wells Fargo Home Mortgage guidelines while providing excellent customer service - Developing relationships with business referral sources - Developing and maintaining a high degree of visibility for WFHM in the community - Delivering presentations to large groups
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years sales experience through marketing activities. - Proven sales, prospecting, negotiating and closing skills. - Ability to thoroughly comprehend underwriting guidelines, as well as programs, policies and procedures. -.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain programs, loan terms, features, policies and benefits to customers and business partners - Collaborative, positive energy, with a sincere customer focus. - Ability to meet minimum production requirements of 3-5 loans per month. - Demonstrated administrative and basic technical skills including database maintenance and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word). - Ability to build and leverage relationships with people of all generations. - Ability to lift and transfer 15+ pounds. - Ability to commute to/from business need. - High School Degree or higher level of education
Preferred Skills: - Good Understanding of real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions. - Past experience building referral relationships with other professionals catering to a senior market. - Reverse Mortgage sales experience. - Past experience with senior-focused products or services.
