Molecular Biologist

GENEWIZ provides DNA sequencing, molecular biology and genomic services to biomedical research communities. The Company is seeking an experienced molecular biologist (Ph.D. or equivalent) to join our Molecular Biology Services unit.  Ideal candidate should be experienced and skillful with rich knowledge in a wide range of molecular biology methodologies including gene cloning, gene synthesis, DNA sequencing, genotyping, SNP discovery and analysis, and protein expression. Previous experience with sequence analysis programs and bioinformatic scripting is preferred. Experience providing technical support relating to genomic databases and sequencing analysis a plus.

The position requires the ability to multi task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. Ideal candidates must be motivated, organized and disciplined with record keeping. Strong oral and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in life sciences and related disciplines
