CNC Machinist

 

Employee Responsibilities:

·         Prepares and operates computer numerically controlled equipment, cells or clusters.

·         Ensures the correct machine and/or cell settings and corresponding results via computer program and appropriate tool placement and use.

·         On a production basis, process work pieces to specifications and select, install and adjust tooling and attachments for specific programs.

·         Read and interpret blueprints and related technical data, loading automatic feeding devices, and beginning daily machine operations.

·         Inspects work pieces for conformity and tolerance specifications by using mechanical and electrical measuring devices in order to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.

·         Replace accessories, changing program parameters, maintaining machines, following all defined safety procedures and performing any other related duties.

 

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.6 years CNC experience (graduation from certified apprenticeship program and 1 year of CNC experience may be substituted for 5 years CNC experience).CNC software performance and modification competency.
