Job Responsibilities:
Execute training sessions written and developed by the Training department Assist in writing material for new training programs; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs Assist in writing material for new training programs Review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs Schedule training sessions and ensure facility setup, audiovisual setup, and employee notification Research, plan, organize, and conduct training programs and seminars for various levels of project staff Assist in the development of a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs through testing Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of programs developed and/or administered Maintain detailed records for staff training Perform other duties as may be assigned by managementEducation/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (instructional design degree) or equivalent relevant experience in one or more of the following: Training Development, Communications, Business Administration, or Teaching Three to five years of prior training/teaching, creative ability and visual graphics design ability Good public speaker at ease moderating large groups Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently Committed to promoting the goals of the project Knowledge and work experience with State programs ( i.e. CHIP, TANF, Food Stamps, Medicaid or LTC) is preferredMAXIMUS recognizes the value of diversity in our workforce, and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
