Mid-Level Program Manager with Military Emergency Management Expertise (CFD-128) ARA Central Florida Division, Orlando, FL Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc. is a recognized leader in the development of cutting-edge engineering and software solutions to critical defense problems. We are seeking a mid-level Program Manager to join our expanding group in Orlando, FL. This position will involve leadership of emergency management simulation and training efforts for both military and civilian domains. Principal duties will include: (1) leading the identification of new opportunities that ARA’s Central Florida Division should pursue, (2) initiating and leading marketing visits with the customers for these opportunities, (3) ensuring that responsive follow-up meetings and proposals to these customers occur, and (4) providing technical leadership and oversight of the resultant efforts. Required Skills: · Desire and demonstrated excellence in developing and maintaining relationships with government/DoD customers · Demonstrated ability to “open doors” and build relationships with new customers · Thorough knowledge of a DOD or government agency/sector/organization · At least seven years technical work experience · Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment · Ability to work with little supervision and set/achieve interim milestones towards a higher task objective · Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (one criteria for security clearance is to be a U.S. citizen)
