Energetics is accepting applications for a Mid-Level Manufacturing Sector/Homeland Security Analyst to work in Arlington, VA.

 

Education/Experience:  This position requires a Master of Science Degree or higher with 5-8 years of experience.  Prior direct experience in the manufacturing industry, as well as   work with industry associations and/or government programs and/or experience with risk analysis are highly desirable.

 

Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Homeland Security Analyst will provide technical and management support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Infrastructure Protection on programs relevant to the U.S. manufacturing industry, primarily in security and preparedness.  This support will include the facilitation of public-private partnerships in the sector. Other responsibilities include:

 

·         Coordinating staff working on technical, policy-oriented or planning activities

·         Developing strategic and tactical plans to support government activities

·         Supporting the development and maintenance of government-industry partnerships

·         Reviewing sector risk assessment, research and development or related activities

·         Providing high level communications for diverse audiences

 

 

Skills/Abilities:  The ideal candidate will have an operational understanding of heavy manufacturing industries and familiarity with National Homeland Security policy.  An active Secret or higher clearance is also highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) is required.
