This position requires you to live within a 50 mile radius of Winston Salem, NC or Richmond, VA.  Relocation assistance is not available on this position.

 

The Medical Representative will promote and sell all products marketed by Hollister-Stier to physicians, pharmacies, distributors, chains, managed care companies, and teaching institutions, and manages the territory.  Some overnight travel is required.  Territory includes North and South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

 

Principal Activities:

 

Fulfill homestudy, Phase I and Phase II training.Contact all current customers and prospects to sell and market all Hollister-Stier products.Report required work activities daily on Goldmine and Sync In.Call on teaching institutions in assigned territory, and build relationships with all key personnel in the Department of Allergy.Increase knowledge by studying product manuals and assignments given to increase learning curve.Maintain all company property to include assigned automobile, laptop computer, fax machine, etc.Implement “marketing campaigns” as assigned by Regional Sales Manager (RSM)/Company.Submit timely reports and itineraries as directed by the RSM.Medical Representatives will successfully sell all products that are co-marketed with any company.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Bachelor degree is required.  Emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences is preferred. Successful work background with minimum 6 months of recent professional or related sales experience.  Candidates will be screened using a preferred 1.5 years directly related medical device/pharmaceutical or closely related experience level. Technical and scientific aptitude to appropriately relate to customers. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Self-motivated with a successful work background.Basic laptop computer skills required.Must live within a 50 mile radius of Winston Salem, NC or Richmond, VA

 

Compensation Package:

 

$42,304 to $55,000 base wage (DOE) plus “Uncapped Incentive Plan.”   

Company Car provided and all Travel Related Expenses. 

 

Relocation:  There is no relocation allowance for this position.
