Medical communications/education company in northern New Jersey needs top-level communicators with strong medical education experience. Leadership, team-building and strategic thinking skills essential to work with internal teams and external clients and grantors to create and nurture projects in multiple therapeutic areas. Excellent written, oral, presentation and computer skills required.

Available positions include:

·                    Medical Director. $90-120K

o       Develops and ensures integrity of scientific and clinical content, provides medical expertise for New Business Development initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external clients/grantors; helps generate NBD leads. Produces clinical content and critically reviews content provided by others; manages external writers; provides scientific and clinical contact for proposals, slide presentations and meetings. Some client contact.

o       Qualifications include:

§         Ph.D., M.D. or PharmD

§         Thorough understanding of ACCME, OIG, AMA and PhRMA guidelines

§         5-7 years experience in medical education, pharmaceutical or related health industry

§         minimum 2-3 years as associate medical director, medical director of medical writer in medical education industry

§         proven track record developing scientific and clinical content, including publication in peer-reviewed journals

·                    Senior Medical Director $120-150K

o       Leads internal team members to ensure highest quality clinical content and compliance with scientific guidelines; interfaces with external clients/grantors to develop plans and tactics across multiple therapeutic lines. Develops and ensures integrity of scientific and clinical content, provides medical expertise for New Business Development initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external clients/grantors; helps generate NBD leads. Produces clinical content and critically reviews content provided by others; manages external writers; provides scientific and clinical contact for proposals, slide presentations and meetings. Ability to work independently.

o       Qualifications include:

§         Ph.D., M.D. or PharmD
