Immediate need for candidates with experience in Medical Device engineering, manufacture, and Materials Science!

The position listed is for a fast-growing medical device company in the Baltimore, Maryland area. This company is utilizing novel ideas to formulate products in high demand within the medical, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries. Due to their steady growth, they currently have a new position opening for a Material Scientist with previous experience in the industry or a solid, relevant academic background. They are looking for the right candidate to join their wonderful group!

The salary range is 60-80k. The job duties will include validation of protocols both with company and the company's clients, utilizing telephone and internet communication, hands-on developing testing protocols for these devices, and appropriate documentation of activities.

The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience with medical device engineering
* Knowledge of material science
* Good working knowledge of regulatory documents such as 21CFR,
FDA, and GMP regulations
* Excellent communication skills, teamwork
* Enthusiasm and creativity

This position is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with excellent benefits available as soon as 30 days on contract! This includes:
* Salary range of 60-80k based on experience

Requirements
* MS degree in Material Science, Engineering, Medical Device,
etc with some industry experience
* PhD in the same, with equivalent experience in academia
* Knowledge of regulatory documents such as GMP, FDA, CFR etc.
