Medical Billing Manager Position:

Description:

Manage medical billing operations and staff to ensure that financial, quality and production standards are met. Maintain medical billing processing policies and procedures. Design, implement and monitor efficient and effective workflow. Establish and oversee service performance measurements. Perform trend analysis and compliance assessment to develop processes and operational improvements and corrective action plans. Act as the primary management liaison with current patients regarding medical billing processing and issues. Participate on various company committees.

Maintains a motivated and productive staff by providing sound leadership and direction; models appropriate behavior; renders timely decisions; provides coaching, feedback and recognition; conducts appropriate and timely performance appraisals; selects the best qualified candidates to fill job vacancies; administers company polices fairly; provides for development activities and opportunities to assure the application and assessment of skills learned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Requires an Associates degree or higher Requires a minimum of (5) years experience in medical billing. Requires a minimum of (2) years of supervisory experience in medical billing.

Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for directing the activities of medical billing operations.
Responsible for establishing sound policies and procedures. Develops and implements processes and operational improvements and oversees key service performance measurements.
Responsible for efficiency and accuracy of all members of the billing staff.
