Medical Assistant - Per-diem with potential for full-time.

Seeking a Medical Assistant able to perform venipunture, 12 Lead EKG, Vital Signs, laboratory specimen processing and shipping, and other laboratory assessments in a fast-paced clinical trials environment.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The Medical Assistant must have 1-2 years of related experience. BCLS, NY State Infection Control and HAZMAT certification preferred. Must be detail-oriented and previous experience working with clinical trials is preferred.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

The tasks of the Medical Assistant include but are not limited to:

Venipuncture 12 Lead EKG Vital Signs Laboratory Specimen Processing and Shipping Filing and other administrative tasks Other duties as assigned
