In this position, the qualified individual will be responsible for reviewing and managing claim denials. Taking claim rejections and determine next steps. Make outbound phone calls to insurance companies to obtain additional information regarding patient¿s policies, determining appeals, completing claims paperwork, ensuring all information is accurate for the appeals process and follow up on outstanding claims for payment.

Minimum requirements for this position include but are not limited to: -Detail oriented -Keying skills are a must -Medical billing experience is a plus -Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) -Excellent communication and problem solving skills -Experience with governmental, commercial, managed care payers, contractual adjustments, denials, and appeals.

HS Diploma or GED
