Position Overview:
For the past 35 years, KRT Marketing, Inc. has served as a leading full-service advertising agency headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area — with in-depth background and experience in a wide variety of industries.
In the last decade, the Agency has emerged as a dominant force, on a global level, in recruitment advertising and employment communications. Our continued growth has created the opportunity for a new Account Executive/Media Planner to lead our expanding client base of Fortune 500 companies in their recruitment advertising programs. We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a willingness to develop a thorough knowledge of both online (i.e., Monster, CareerBuilder, HotJobs, etc.) and print (i.e., newspaper classifieds) recruitment media along with the strong customer service and expertise that our clients have come to expect.
Primary activity revolves around online recruitment media with specific responsibilities including strategic media planning (i.e., job board consultation), media contract negotiations and media tracking/analysis. Media planning activity for traditional marketing clients (outside of recruitment) will also be part of role/responsibilities.
This position will play a key role in the ongoing success of our business development program and provides definite opportunity for long-term growth.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:
· Manage primary client relationships and ensure satisfaction with every aspect of the agency
· Diversify and grow assigned accounts organically to ensure client retention
· Work closely with the client on an ongoing basis to discuss goals, identify opportunities and recommend media/services
· Provide excellent customer service and be responsive to all client needs/requests
· Proactively gain industry knowledge through agency resources, personal research and development of networking connections through industry organizations and events
· Develop a fundamental understanding of various industry technologies (i.e., applicant tracking systems, job distribution services, etc.)
· Aggressively and effectively negotiate with the media
· Ensure accuracy in client billing and resolve billing issues as needed
· Use metrics/analytics to improve effectiveness of each client’s recruitment initiative
· Prepare monthly client activity and trend reports to review with agency management
· Attend meetings with business prospects when necessary
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Relevant Bachelor’s degree
· 3-5 years of related experience — advertising agency, media or HR/recruiting experience is highly desirable
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
· Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and scope targeted solutions
· Skilled in mathematics, analytics and research
· Strong negotiator
· Excellent written and verbal communication, grammar and proofreading skills with acute attention to detail
· Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and extremely Web-savvy (i.e., searching, trouble shooting media, etc.)
· Ability to prioritize, multitask, manage complex workload and handle pressure in a deadline-driven environment while simultaneously maintaining a sense of humor is essential
· Ability to work independently and problem solve as necessary
· Ability to work long hours as necessary
· Ability to travel as needed
