IMMEDIATE NEED! Client in Northern Indiana outside of Fort Wayne, is actively looking for a entry level Mechanical Technician for their manufacturing facility. The Technician will be supporting development and sonobuoy production programs. Candidate will be assigned to a broad range of programs, providing fabrication & prototyping of electro-mechanical items, electro-mechanical assembly support, field test support, failure analysis, development of test and assembly fixtures, and more duties as assigned. Applicant MUST HAVE an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with 2 - 4 years of related Machine Shop Experience OR
have Apprentice training with 4 - 7 years of related Machine Shop Experience! Must demonstrate aptitude in the fabrication & assembly of mechanical devices and have the ability to use a variety of tools, including Machine Shop Equipment! Experience supporting production of mechanical devices and/or working in a laboratory environment is also desired! Relocation assistance possible for the right candidate! Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance! Questions you will be asked:
• Briefly detail your previous Machine Shop experience. How many years?
• Discuss your experience in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical devices.
• Do you have an Associates Degree or do you have Apprentice training?
• Do you have or able to acquire a security clearance?
• Where are you located now and when can you start?
