Christiana Care Health System, located in Newark, DE, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager for the management and administration of mechanical engineering services for all Christiana Care owned facilities. This includes Power Plant operations, Textiles maintenance, energy management, project administration and mechanical systems maintenance.  Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.  Five (5) years experience in Facilities Engineering with prior supervisory experience preferred.

Based in Wilmington, DE, Christiana Care Health System is one of the largest health care providers in the mid-Atlantic region, serving all of Delaware and portions of seven counties bordering the state in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey.

The not-for-profit, privately owned Christiana Care family of services includes two hospitals. The Christiana Hospital is a 907 bed tertiary care and regional referral center located on a suburban campus south of the City of Wilmington and has the only Level-I trauma service on the East Coast corridor between Philadelphia and Baltimore.. The Wilmington Hospital is a 271 bed hospital located in the downtown business district of Wilmington. A $205 million dollar expansion of the Wilmington Hospital will begin this year.
