Description:
Mechanical Engineer- Manufacturing Methods Volt Technical Resources is looking for skilled Mechanical Engineers. This position is responsible for mechanical/manufacturing design of locomotive assemblies, subassemblies, tooling and components using 3D modeling techniques. Also responsible for leading teams of engineers, designers and drafters, as well as manufacturing personnel for enhanced production methods using QPS, DFMA and other tools. Requirements:
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 2-5 years of progressive experience in heavy manufacturing, mechanical and manufacturing systems. 3D modeling using PROE, U/G and/or solid edge a must. Must also be familiar with or willing to learn QPS and DFMA skills. Additional Information Desired skills: ORACLE, QPS, DFMA
