A&P Technology’s success has created the need for more team members, particularly in the engineering field. We are now looking for Mechanical Engineers interested in the designing, building and improving of braiding machinery. This position involves working on research and development projects, while providing technical engineering support to meet the demands of production.

Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities:

Designing and enhancing manufacturing equipment to meet the demands of production while helping to improve braiding processes Analyzing individual solutions and taking appropriate action to ensure that customer needs are met Providing engineering drawings for tool room to manufacture parts Utilizing CAD or similar tools to perform machine layouts and detailing of machine drawings Participating in self-directed projects or in collaboration with a team of engineers, managers, and or operators on various technical applications Encouraging, evaluating, and implementing employee’s suggestions for continuous improvement of procedures and methods Providing technical engineering services to determine customer’s needs

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
