Currently, Fallbrook is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2 – 8 years experience, capable of clean sheet design of mechanical drivetrain components and associate control mechanisms for prototype and production bicycle applications. The position will be based in our technology facility near Austin, Texas.

 

Job Duties:

Computer-aided design of components and assemblies for bicycle hubs and shifters (Pro-Engineer Wildfire).Engineering analysis of bicycle hubs and shifters (Ansys, Mathcad, Excel).Support of ride and bench testing of bicycle hubs & shifters.Design for volume manufacturing (materials & processes).Provide engineering support to suppliers and manufacturing partners.

 

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have a BSME or MSME or similar.Proficiency in Pro-Engineer 3D CAD software. Proven mechanism design skills and GD&T experience and prototype design, analysis, fabrication, assembly and test experience are required.Prior experience in competitive motor sports or cycling a plus!
