IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located in the southern Kansas has an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer with aircraft modifications or completions experience. This is a temp to perm or long term contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); At least 5 years work experience in mechanical aircraft modifications and/or completions; Working knowledge of aircraft materials, standard parts, and procedures; At least 3 years work experience with CAD (ie. AutoCAD, UGII, CATIA, MOTIVA). The primary focus of this position will be to work with internal and external customers, vendors, and regulatory officials to assist with aircraft modification and/or completion efforts. Responsibilities will include: Interpreting customer specifications, vendor requirements, company/industry standards, FAA/DOT and foreign regulations; Determining aircraft mechanical equipment, hardware, antenna, and system requirements; Preparing documentation and reports. The posted pay range is an approximation. Pay will depend on experience. Questions you will be asked:
