Mechanical Design Engineer

Diamond Diagnostics, is a manufacturer and international supplier of clinical laboratory equipment and related components.  The company is based in Holliston, Massachusetts and services distributors in over 80 countries worldwide.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and persistent individual with strong mechanical design skills for various components and devices used in our product line. Opening is immediate.

The position entails the following responsibilities:

·         Perform New Hardware Design and Development and Related Documentation

·         Perform Hardware Design Improvements and Related Documentation

·         Perform Process Engineering improvements and related documentation

·         Expedite Engineering Change Orders & Related Documentation

·         Incoming Component Quality Control

·         Project Management

·         Perform Procurement Research

Qualifications for this position are:

·         BS Mechanical Engineering or similar

·         3+ Years of Mechanical Design or Process Engineering Experience

·         2+ Years of Solid Modeling (3d Design) Experience Required

·         Proficiency in Solidworks mandatory

·         Proficiency in Autocad preferred

·         FDA or ISO experience required

·         Proficiency in Excel, Word, MS Project preferred

·         Strong organizational skills

·         Strong Project management experience

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to focus

·         Strong communication and software skills
