Employment Announcement Company: XYZ Inc. Location: San Jose, CA Job Requirements: ' Bachelor's degree in engineering ' 5+ years of work experience engineering solutions for advanced manufacturing operations ' 3+ years 3-D CAD design experience. (preferably ProE, Solid Works and/or Catia) Since the position requires close customer contact, you must have good communication skills, and be able to develop good working relationships with customers and suppliers. It is considered advantageous if you have previously worked with developing equipment for mass production, as well as having experience in the international telecom industry. At a minimum, you must be able to design with: ' Free form plastic parts ' Stamped metals ' Other unique electromechanical components. To manufacture the products, you must be able to develop both manual assembly methods and tools, as well as automated production solutions that will be used at one of our global production facilities. The mechanical engineer is a critical part of the project throughout its lifetime; starting with the first conceptual sketches and ending in full-scale mass production. With XYZ's global locations and global customer base, travel will be required to meet with customers or visit one of our own facilities in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Job Description: Position Title: Mechanical Engineer We are currently seeking Mechanical Engineers in our San Jose, CA area location to develop mechanical solutions for advanced wireless devices.
