Material Manager

Our client is an innovative and diversified Fortune 500 global company.  They are a worldwide leader in the automotive and transportation technology industry employing over 45,000 people in 35 different countries.  They are a driver of excellence in all they do. 
In this position you will be located at one of the company’s flagship facilities, it is a $100M Heavy Vehicle component manufacturing facility just North of Rochester, MN.  They offer VERY competitive compensation packages along with growth potential in a challenging and exciting work environment!!!

 

You will have 3 main responsibilities

Production planning, scheduling & inventory control Some MRO purchasing, some dotted line responsibility 5 direct reports (schedulers, customer service-shipping & receiving) This position reports to the Plant Manager

Our client is looking for:

A strong back ground in medium to high volume manufacturing Experience in SAP is required – plant is moving to SAP this year Automotive experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in materials or related field MBA is a plus, along with APICS certifications
