Are you a top-notch graphic designer with a passion for writing direct response copy? Or are you a copywriting genius that has every Adobe design program and knows how to use it? 

 

As our marketing specialist, your will be responsible for taking each direct response marketing campaign throughout the entire project life cycle – from conception to execution to tracking results.  You will ensure the effectiveness, high quality, and timeliness of our marketing campaigns.  You will accomplish administrative tasks with enthusiasm.  And you will be creative, efficient, and love to sell with your words and designs.

 

Our current direct marketing efforts include a mix of direct mail, television, web, print, public relations and other media in order to market our unique, niche consumer financial services.

 

Critical Job Functions

 

·        Design and write all of our marketing materials

·        Execute direct mail promotions, including developing the concept, creating the design, coordinating the printing and mailing, pulling lists, receiving legal approval, and ensuring that every aspect is managed effectively and within budget.

·        Design web pages and email campaigns

·        Manage vendor relationships, including our printers, mail house, media buyers, and call center

·        Bring creative ideas on how to market to our target audience

·        Perform ad hoc marketing analysis and produce marketing management reports

 Required Skills

 

·        Expert in graphic design using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Quark

·        Exceptional business writing and direct marketing copywriting skills, preferably in financial services

·        Experience in managing, executing, and analyzing direct mail campaigns

·        Experience coordinating marketing projects with vendors, including printers and mail house

·        Web design experience

·        Understanding of consumer financial services

·        Excellent organizational skills

·        Quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel spreadsheet experience a plus

·        3+ years marketing experience in related industry

·        B.S. or B.A. degree (marketing, advertising, or graphic design preferred)
