Filter Specialists, Inc. is an industry leader in the design,  manufacturing, marketing & selling of innovative quality liquid filtration products to the automotive, coatings, chemical, petrochemical, food & beverage processing and general industrial markets throughout the world.   Excellent entry level marketing opportunity:

 

Sales Assistant – Back up supervision of Customer Service Representatives (once system/procedures are learned).

 

Sales/Contact Database – Responsible for managing Sales Contact Reporting Database (ACT) and providing weekly reports to Management.  Training on software will be offered and then will be responsible for trouble shooting salesman computer issues/problems in the field.

 

Sales Leads – Tracking sales leads received from company website, tradeshows, online sources, etc.  Follow up with salesman and reporting to management on successful conversions of leads to sales.

 

Sales Analysis – Perform sales analysis for specified geographical areas, markets, etc., utilizing in-house database information, online sources, etc.

 

Sales Commissions – Responsible for determining monthly commissions to be paid to salesmen/distributors, based on formula and sales reports.

 

Event Planning – Responsible for pre-event planning and logistics, on-site coordination of sales meetings and/or trade shows.

 

Website – Updating website may include data entry, data checking, maintaining file of graphics, etc.  Not responsible for design or content of website.

 

Literature – Responsible for tracking usage and keeping inventory of company literature, coordination with marketing/printing company for printing, proofreading, etc.  Not responsible for design or content initially, but opportunity exists for input in the future.

 

Market and Company Research – Helping to research targeted markets or companies using online and print sources.

 

Projects as assigned by Management.

 

Skills Required – Expert proficiency in Power Point, Word and Excel.  Database management experience a plus.  Excellent communication skills required.

 

Education – BS/BA in marketing, communication or related field.

 

Experience – 1 year to recent college graduates encouraged to apply/respond.

 

Physical Requirements – Packing/unpacking literature, signage and moving/assembly of AV equipment.  Trade show booth assembly and disassembly.

 

Travel – Minimal
