The Group Manager, Enrollment/ Programs is responsible for ensuring marketingstrategies and plans are developed, implemented and evaluated to driveprofitable membership growth.
1) Plays a leadership role with sales teams, customer service, productdevelopment and other internal parties in developing integrated and multi-mediamarketing strategies targeted to prospects, producers and employers to driveprofitable membership growth in accordance with the annual business plan.
2) Ensures quantitative models show how elements of the annual plan lead toachievement of business goals.
3) Reviews and evaluates specialized marketing project plans and steps to ensurethey support new and retained sales objectives.
4) Oversees the review and analysis of prospect, member, producer or employerneeds assessments, trends, and patterns in producing insights that result in newand creative marketing and communications strategies / tactics with uniquemessaging, and media to maximize new sales.
5) Responsible for successful marketing campaign implementations includingtechnical and artistic phases, materials, budgets, and vendor service agreementsare completed and results are communicated to management and team members.
6) Ensures completed marketing plans are evaluated and learning outcomes aredisseminated across the team and department.
7) Normally responsible for setting operational initiatives and assignments on aweekly basis.
8) Participates on cross-functional and project teams developing andimplementing new marketing strategies, processes and tools.
9) Has management responsibility for the hiring, performance and salary reviews,promotions and disciplinary matters for direct reporting employees.
Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience, including manageriallevel experience in marketing, product management or health care or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to effectively present highly complex information and respond toquestions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Demonstrated leadership, project management, program evaluation and consultingskills and ability to interact with all levels including senior management andinfluence decision-making.
Skill in planning, organizing, leading and effectively managing projects or teammembers in the performance of their duties.
Knowledge of marketing principles, concepts and techniques including marketinganalysis and research tools.
Ability to independently evaluate marketing plans and processes and recommendimprovements.
Knowledge of health insurance industry, products, services and their financialdrivers.
Knowledge of legal, brand and regulatory compliance requirements for marketinghealth insurance plans.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communications (verbal, written &presentation) skills.
Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.
Good analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use advance features ofExcel, PowerPoint and Word.
