Overview
Serve as Monster’s expert in creating a self service atmosphere. The Retail Solutions POP Manager will be expected to bridge the gap between product proliferation and the poorly trained sales staff on the retail floor, consumers are left to “serve” themselves. As the Retail Solutions Point-of-Purchase Manager you will report to the Senior Channel Marketing Manager, and work with cross functional teams as well as customers/partners to develop self service solutions by attracting consumers to the latest Monster point-of-purchase displays, signage, racks, merchandise tables, store fixtures, interactive demos and other materials to market our products.

Responsibilities
The ‘Retail Solutions Point-of-Purchase Manager’ will: - Support multiple product categories and retail partners (i.e. Best Buy, Circuit City, RadioShack, Home Depot, etc.) with the best in class marketing solutions. - Develop and help maintain vendor partnerships for concept development, quality, and cost savings with internal and external customers. - Work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, busy and creative Marketing Department and ensure branding and positioning strategies are being met. - Support the field by responding quickly to questions and needs on any support needed in the design and/or implementation of retail solutions - Supports and serves as the provider of promotional products and giveaways / advertising supplies used to promote Monster brand or new products. - Directs and coordinates activities of projects to ensure project progresses on schedule. - Prepares status reports, modifies schedules or plans as required - Develop knowledge and understanding of company operational area's (i.e.Finance, Credit, Sales, Operations, etc.) processes and procedures in performing day-to-day operations - Lead coordination of promotional premiums execution including championing the idea through internal organization, liason with partner agencies and outside promotion partners, communication with selling organization, execution of promotional components - Work with a team of professionals in a creative and structured environment PERFORMANCE METRICS The incumbent’s performance will be assessed on: Communicating with consumers on the sales floor is more important than ever and the traditional tools do not meet rising customer expectations. This role will be expected to: -Demonstrate creativity by influencing consumer buying behaviors at the point-of-purchase. -Create well-executed self-service environment to sale product and increased customer satisfaction. -Drive and improve existing initiatives in the stores. -Seamless deployment of POP to improve the consumer experience on the retail floor. -Build internal partnerships and credibility by working directly with Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Training and Trade Show teams to customize products for premiums and promotional opportunities. KEY RELATIONSHIPS The incumbent will form key relationships with: - Key Retail Merchandising Teams with various retailers - Channel Sales - Channel Marketing - Product Marketing - Product Management - Engineering - Training - Purchasing - Global Sourcing teams

Qualifications
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will have the following experience or knowledge in the following areas: - Experience and understanding of retail floor selling solutions/ structural design and strategies - Experience in driving POP solutions through from conception to birth with execution and evaluation support on the sales floor - A strong working knowledge of materials/processes and design found at the highest levels of the industry. - Expertise using working with rendering and concept sketches - Experience in the marketing and design of POP displays CHARACTERISTICS The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the CE/CI marketplace - Highly organized - Expertise in planning - Great negotiator in pricing - Forecasting skils a plus - Product development and marketing a plus - Strong time management skills. EDUCATION Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred
