Description: The role of the EO Portfolio Lead is to manage and coordinate the marketing strategy for the existing EO customers. This includes developing portfolio marketing plans and coordinating the execution of marketing programs to ensure retention, profitability, goal attainment and competitiveness. This person will create and maintain competitive tracking; manage the Customer Strategy with regards to retention and make recommendations on the product as to what features our customers are or are not utilizing.
This position manages the marketing mix for the assigned Electric Orange including day to day management of the promotional plan including channel strategies and providing direction to the Marketing team. This person will also work closely with Sales, Operations, IT and other affected groups to help oversee the product line and future product development. It is the responsibility of the EO Marketing Lead to have a full knowledge of the US market and an intimate understanding of competitor and substitute products.
Essential Functions:
Portfolio Marketing
Responsible for weekly reporting analysis and recommendations with regards to the usage of the product including recommendations with:
Bill Pay
Card Usage- Signature Usage; Debit POS and ATM
Electric Check
Send-a-Check
Create and maintain competitive tracking to know what Customers are seeing in marketplace.
Develop retention strategies in conjunction with Customer Service and the Communications team.
Report results and learning's across departments for constant optimization of the Customer experience.
Responsible for weekly reporting analysis and recommendations with regards to the usage of the product.
Additional Responsibilities
Help to build and maintain close relationships with all business areas
Work as a primary resource for business systems analysis and services
Pro-actively partner with the business in solution identification and requirements definition
Assist with Acquisition Marketing as needed
Participate in establishment of standards for business systems analysis and requirements management
Perform requirements elicitation, triage, specification, and change management activities Qualifications: 3 - 5 years proven business results in consumer marketing or bank deposit marketing experience
Prior Debit or Credit Card Marketing Experience; preferably with portfolio management
Experience creating and maintaining relationships with business contacts.
Proven ability to motivate the consumer.
Solid analytical, communications and teambuilding skills are crucial.
Candidate Profile/Characteristics:
Intimate understanding of US checking market, including payments (cards, bill pay, checking) and online banking
Inspirational leadership skills
Proven organizational & process management skills
Ability to effectively present at executive level

The role of the Deposit Services department is to plan, manage and continually develop the Deposit Product line. To produce the desired business results, the Deposit Services department manages product development and marketing programs that drive Deposit Growth. Currently, the department is responsible for the Orange Savings Account, Orange CDs, Electric Orange (Transaction Account), Business Savings Account and the Business CD as well as new product development. In coordination with the Marketing Department, the team develops programs that utilize advertising, direct marketing, Internet and public relations in response to the market and competitive dynamics. In addition, the Deposit Services department works closely with IT, Operations, Sales, Planning and Finance on product development, portfolio growth and improved customer experience.
