Client is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join its Offer Strategy and Management Team as a Marketing Database Consultant
As a member of this team, you will contribute to our rapidly growing business by ensuring Customer Information Management (CIM) capabilities are fully integrated and aligned with the business to drive deeper and more profitable product relationships with existing customers.
The individual is responsible for leading the integration of CIM capabilities to include tools, data, reporting, and insights with the business processes to support Enhancement Services’ (ES) marketing strategies, cross-selling, retention, customer experience initiatives, and revenue growth.
The individual will be expected to both consult and provide analytic expertise functioning as a supporting member of the ES marketing organization spanning the product development, marketing, execution, and analysis/reporting.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the integration and implementation of specific requirements of CIM capabilities to include design and development of platforms and databases (e.g.: campaign management database, membership database, and contact management strategies). Establish standard processes for managing execution of list selections for ES marketing campaigns across business partnerships. Enhance criteria and business logic with segmentation and modeling techniques. Establish and test appropriate marketing and contact strategies across business partnerships. Develop and support of analysis tools to provide reporting of ES marketing results (e.g.: campaign performance, penetration, persistency, and revenue reporting) on an ongoing basis. Possess strong communication and relationship skills with the ability to influence and drive results in a matrix environment. Compile, report, analyze and evaluate trends on direct response marketing results within campaigns and across all marketing efforts (including telemarketing, direct mail, online). Partner with product providers, vendors and marketing partners to receive data / reporting updates on all marketing activities with the appropriate level of detail. Manage project teams, the prioritization and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS or equivalent CIM experience, and a minimum of 10+ years experience in programming or list processing that includes campaign design / execution and development of platforms and databases. The 10+ years of experience to include: 6+ years marketing analysis experience including campaign performance, penetration, persistency, and revenue reporting. 4+ years ES business experience and/or working knowledge of ES products. 3+ years of management experience. Proficiency in UNIX/SAS, SAS Macro, SQL, Brio/Hyperion, and/or other MIS/analytical tools with extracting and manipulating large datasets for analysis purposes.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e.: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio).Experiences in developing contact management strategies. Demonstrated ability to understand and apply critical thinking to improve complex business processes. Experiences participating in or building statistical models. Experiences working with undefined processes and rapidly changing environments; and proven ability to take initiatives and to deliver results in these environments. Strong oral and written communication skills and proven ability to leverage relationships at all levels of the organization. Experiences presenting complex materials to a variety of audiences to include obtaining executive support and/or funding. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy, results oriented environment with enthusiasm, flexibility and a can-do attitude.
