Description:

Under the direction of the European Marketing Manager you will be responsible for coordinating marketing efforts within Frost & Sullivan’s European and African regions.

Objectives:

·        Responsible for the operational coordination of specified Europe and African marketing activity for Frost & Sullivan products and services

·        Actively coordinate the marketing function, ensuring all key decision-makers recognize and identify the contribution of marketing to company profitability

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

To assist the marketing Managers (Europe and Africa) with marketing for the various business units and sales teams via direct mail campaigns, brochure development, event management and analyst briefing sessions. Key areas include:

 

Marketing campaign planning Resource planning Direct marketing activities Database planning Production of brochures and newsletters Sales support Results and ROI analysis

·         Maintain direct marketing schedules to support production plans

·         Maintain regular contact with the relevant sales teams and research managers to ensure marketing campaigns are pro-actively co-ordinated

Production of direct marketing collateral to support sales activity within the designated business units

·         Liaise with various business unit managers, program managers and sales managers to ensure marketing needs are established and followed through

·         Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns by utilising an extensive tracking sheet report effectiveness to sales managers and research managers

·         Liase with marketing co-ordinators/managers globally to ensure standards are maintained

Work with Corporate Communications team to develop successful contra deals and marketing/media partnershipsMaintain relationship with all external suppliers, negotiate pricing structure and contractual obligationsAssist Business Units with hosting events internally where necessaryAssist occasionally with the training and live moderation of web briefings Assisting lead processors in India with lead follow up rates

 

 

Requirements:

·        Bachelors in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field

·        Strong computer skills, good knowledge of Internet, some database skills

·        Basic knowledge of Quark or other layout/graphic software

·        Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other layout/graphic software

·        Knowledge of HTML or HTML Editors is a plus

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and other Windows Office programs

·        Excellent communication and organizational skills

·        Self-starting, articulate and outgoing

·        Very detail oriented

 

Preferred:

·        Background in Business-to-Business marketing, including email marketing

·        Prior experience with market research or consulting is a plus
