Primary Responsibilities:Serve as an integral member of the Strategic Marketing & Communications team responsible for enhancing new business opportunities and customer retention. Provide direct support to regional management and local business development & client management leadership teams with events and communications designed to support specific education, user adoption, membership growth and customer retention initiatives. Coordinate development of communication materials with: external vendors, internal stakeholders and in conjunction with other business units. Manage event logistics coordinating with: external vendors, internally and in conjunction with other business units. Assist business development and client management in the execution of marketing strategy mainly in the form of writing product and program launch communications, collaboring on presentations and coordinating launch events. Participate in cross functional meetings to shape the communications related to product or program launches and the implementation of legislative mandates.Support and enhance proposal and renewal process (develop best practices).Develop tailored presentations/site visit materials/process (develop best practices).Research and report on intelligence collected on competitors. Utilize various electronic and online resources as well as business unit sources. Develop relationships and maintain credibility with internal partners throughout UHG.Provide marketplace feedback to internal partners to enhance new product and service development.Work with Business Development and Client Management to develop best practices, share information and maximize efficiencies.Participate on task forces on an ad hoc and ongoing basis.
Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills. High energy level/self starter/resourceful/ works independently with broad general direction. Well organized with attention to detail. Strong computer skills. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication or related field. 0-2 years experience.
