Marketing and Sales Manager – Silicone Materials

Our client, a division of a multi-faceted international technology corporation, is a successful and growing manufacturer of silicone based products for use in electrical and thermal management applications. Markets served include electronics, aerospace, automotive, military, and a variety of other industrial segments. Their customer base is global in scope.

 

The Position:

The Marketing and Sales Manager reports directly to the division’s General Manager and located in the State of Delaware. This position is responsible for the complete management of all sales and marketing related activities utilizing comprehensive strategic planning, pricing, product responsiveness/readiness planning, and product championing programs. He/she will manage a small direct US and European sales force, a technical marketing staff, and a customer service function. They will also be responsible for the development and management of a global rep and distributor network.

 

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (highly desirable) MBA (highly desirable) Seven years experience in a specialty consumable materials market.

 

The ideal candidate profile would be someone who holds an undergraduate degree in electrical/electronics, chemical/chemistry, or mechanical engineering and initiated their career as an engineer before earning their MBA and progressing into positions of technical sales and/or marketing.

 

 

Compensation:

Dependant on how closely a candidate mirrors the above requirements. Base salary in the low to upper $90’s plus involvement in the company’s employee incentive program. Additional and attractive employee benefit package.

 

 

Relocation:

First preference would be to locate good candidates within a reasonable commute. Professionals now living in Delaware, Southern New Jersey, Southeastern Pennsylvania, Northern Maryland, etc.

 

Relocation assistance could be considered for the perfect candidate now residing outside these areas.
