WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?

Responsible for development and implementation of marketing programs or projects that support organizational marketing objectives Plans, creates and/or produces marketing communications and/or promotional materials to implement marketing projects and programs Collects and analyzes data to identify market trends and potentials, user biases and preferences, etc Consults with business partners, internal and external organizations to develop and implement marketing plans

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?

Previous project management experience helpful Familiarity with company products/services and marketing strategies

Job often requires travel, by driving a motor vehicle and/or via commercial transportation to field office, conventions, and industry meetings

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Seeking a Marketing professional to help take State Farm to the next level!

The Marketing analyst will work initially with the states of Nevada and Utah, with opportunities to handle different states or zone-wide projects over time (AZ, CO, NV, NM, UT, WY). Responsibilities include formulating and implementing integrated marketing programs -- media, sponsorships, event marketing, direct mail, branding, and other traditional and nontraditional programs. Analyst will work with Marketing team, Public Affairs, and Agency management to help develop strategies that drive results.

The successful candidate will have Marketing experience (3-5 years) and be able to take initiative and responsibility for results, research and analyze information, build strong relationships, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively both one-on-one and in front of medium-sized and large audiences.

Some travel is required, particularly to the states within the zone. Although the "normal" work week is Monday-Friday, occasional work during evenings and weekends may be required.

The position will likely be housed in the Las Vegas Operation center, although the Salt Lake City Operations Center and the Tempe Operations Center may be considered as the location for this position, depending on candidate pool.
