Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. The purpose of this position is to assist in the Distribution Support, Sales and Service of Allstate Insurance products. Working with Allstate agencies regarding product selection and consulting to increase sales, generate profitable premium growth and increase market share in the Financial Services and Property and Casualty areas. The scope of this job is to learn about company distribution practices and demonstrate the application and mastery of sales and leadership concepts that will lead to a distribution leadership position as deemed appropriate. The length of the distribution leadership development phase is based on the trainee's prior experience, development plan and market availability. Candidates must complete 4 stages of training: Education, Sales leadership workshop, licensing (as required by state) and Mini-Market Sales. Once training is complete, candidate will be assigned to a group of Allstate agencies to support and manage. Mobility is a requirement of this position. Qualified candidates should have 3 or more years of sales management experience and background in the insurance and/or financial services industry. During the training phase, new hires will be required to earn the following licenses: Property and Casualty, Life and Health, Series 6, 26, 51 or 53, and 63.
