SUMMARY

ResMed is currently looking for a Market Manager who will consult with customers to implement the growth strategies for the sleep-disordered breathing market in the US. Current clinical targets include cardiovascular disease and diabetes as well as generalists and PCPs. This position will also promote strategic programs with key customers to include trailing revenues, changes in channel marketing and others.

 

JOB DUTIES

Work with ResMed sales force in a specific area to achieve quarterly sales goals by promoting growth programs that drive adopting, advocating or prescribing the use of ResMed technology; ensure associated growth in ResMed business (flow generators and accessories) resulting from increased referrals to sleep labs and ResMed-friendly HMEs.

 

Support the Corporate Account team to achieve quarterly sales goals based upon driving ResMed value proposition that incorporate PCP, diabetes, bariatrics, anesthesiology, cardiology and other programs.  Support  the Corporate Account customer base by customizing marketing solutions, coordinating customer training and implementation.  

 

Work with the Marketing and Sales departments to create and distribute marketing and communications material as needed. Identify new strategies for market penetration, including marketing messages, opinion leaders’ consensus conference, physician body lobbying.

 

Identify, develop relationships with and manage strategic partners, including, key opinion leaders, implementation partners that may be in your area.

 

Prepare and present quarterly reports for senior management showing success versus major milestones and metrics tracked through internal system sales database.

 

Travel extensively (approximately 70+% of the time), to ensure sufficient face-time with sales reps, key customers, partners, and to canvass new accounts and attend relevant conferences. Confidence in presentation for small and large groups.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a technical or business discipline and/or a Master's degree (e.g. M.A. or MBA) and five years experience in healthcare marketing, sales or consulting. A background in medical device or pharmaceutical agents required.

(Sleep experience and/or sales in the Sleep Disorders Breathing field a plus)

Similar experience in cardiology technologies will be considered. Excellent presentation skills.
