Because we are growing at a remarkable pace the Store Ops Human Resources Department has an immediate need for a Market Auditor - Store Operations in Washington D.C.
The Market Auditor will be responsible for confirming that the market’s stores operations and daily functions are in compliance with Company policies.   Monitor and measure store process performance in these categories:  Office/Cash Sales, Loss Prevention, Safety and Personnel Training and Development.  Provide on-going in-store training and development of Store Managers and Greeters.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Source, Screen, Hire and Develop a team of 4 Greeters. Reinforce Family Dollar Procedure compliance (Cash Sales, Loss Prevention, Safety and Personnel Training and Development) Plan and facilitate storewide meetings to include greeters, store associates and store management. Monitor District Cash and Sales (OIS) and maintain relationships with Sales Audit Department. Completes Monthly Stores LP Scored Audit. Monitor and manage District’s Target Program Assists in store surveillances using Loss Prevention tools I-Verify and DVR. Education: General high school or GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience: Valid Drivers License Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays) Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Previous retail management experience and loss prevention training a plus. Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access) Previous experience facilitating large group training sessions. Urban Field Experience preferably in local Washington D.C. market.
