Description:
Volt Information Sciences is currently looking for experienced clean room technician! The position involves operating complex equipment in a state of the art clean room environment. Technicians are required to wear proper attire (bunny suit and/or smock) while in clean room. Duties may also include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving. There are multiple openings with a variety of both night and day positions. All shifts are on a compressed work week, 12 hour days, most of which will be spent standing to perform duties. This is a long term contract position, expected to last 12 months.

Requirements:
Some bending and lift (10 lbs. maximum) may be required. Adherence to prescribed safety/quality rules and regulations as well as other environmental policies and procedures such as clean room practices is also required. Basic math skills are required. Candidate must be flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations. Education and Training: candidate must meet either experience or education requirement: 3 years work experience in Semiconductor clean room, or 3 years work experience in office work, or trade with a focus on utilizing computers/software or AA degree in related field, including computer software, semi conductor, etc. Computer Systems: Must possess strong computer skills and software knowledge.

Pay Rate: $11.00 - $13.00 Hourly DOE
