Job Description: CDI has an opening for a manufacturing supervisor, we are looking for someone who has just graduated with a BS degree, in engineering or engineering-related field. No more than 5 years experience - Perfect opportunity for a college grad with only Internship experience. We are a unionized manufacturing plant producing engineered-to-order electrical motors. We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a department. This will include managing department output, productivity, inventory, customer service, safety and the manufacturing process. It will also include people management including time and attendance, vacation and discipline for up to thirty hourly employees. Position will be on second shift (4:00 pm – 12:30 am) We require strong leadership with a high desire for continuous improvement. Past manufacturing experience in a union environment is a plus. Pay rate TBD based on experience. Possible temp to perm. Opportunity for recent college grads. BS degree required, preferably in engineering or engineering-related field
