Kelly Engineering Resources is currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for our client in Carrollton, KY for a three month contract position. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Monitor shift performance and facilitate problem solving to overcome problems and constraints. *Coach and monitor performance of workforce. *Prevent and act upon negative performance trends in shift performance. *Ensure that the collective bargaining agreement is adhered to. *Facilitate problem solving and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. *Conduct regular communication sessions with employees. *Assure compliance with all Safety and Plant Rules and take appropriate corrective actions when violations occur. *Identify cost savings opportunities within the Plant. *Assure highest level of housekeeping and departmental organization. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *Four year college degree with previous leadership experience, or a High school graduate with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience. *Strong leadership, facilitation and communications skills. *Strong computer skills.
