In this role, the Manufacturing Program Lead oversees all aspects of new product introduction and product changes in manufacturing. Responsibilities include: The Manufacturing Program Leader's primary duties are: - planning operations strategy for new product introduction - ensuring software and hardware design for manufacturability and installability - creating and implementing manufacturing plans and build procedures - generating and releasing product data in the engineering database - driving production readiness at product launch - providing mfg product quality analysis and root cause trending - driving OEM obsolescence roadmap activities with Sourcing - championing GE product end of sale activities. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree Minimum of 3 years work experience in a highly regulated industry with and understanding of all aspects of manufacturing systems and processes Knowledge of Computer hardware and software terminology Experience with Value stream mapping Make vs. buy analysis Demonstrated experience in product change control techniques, Product development methodologies, and Quality analysis and improvement techniques Strong communicator: o Able to communicate strategy, timelines and detailed work instructions in writing o Can drive specific actions across functions while maintaining positive relationships Organized: o Thrives on managing multiple projects simultaneously o Uses common office PC programs to sort, arrange and present data o Can lead effective meetings to map processes, generate decisions, assign actions Clear Thinker: o Ability to formulate and articulate the high level goals of a project Detail Oriented: o Able to handle large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy You must be willing to take a drug test.
