We are growing and invite you to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer (Industrial or Mechanical Engineer) for our Reprographics Supply Group (RSG). This new and exciting Manufacturing Engineer position will support the Manager of Process and Packaging Engineering Department. The successful candidate will develop ideas to improve process designs, packaging, and productivity of all operations in order to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.
The Manufacturing Engineer will:
· Maintain and implement changes to existing packaging and implement any new packaging designs in support of new products.
· Use project management skills to assist in implementation of new products or trials to modify existing processes, including creation of turnover documents.
· Assist in the development and tracking of cost reduction themes by gathering data and preparing reports to illustrate savings impact.
· Assist with analyzing and troubleshooting process problems with focus on Filling processes by determining rootcause and implementing countermeasures.
· Assist with presentation of Kaizen reports and department safety training and audits, and develop ideas to improve TPM/Visual Management in the facility.
· Assist in the creation, maintenance, and review of manufacturing standards for all aspects of the manufacturing process. Follow and ensure ISO 9001 and ISO14001 compliance on all documentation.
Qualifications:
· BS degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering required.
· Minimum 2 years manufacturing industry experience required, packaging experience preferred.
· Basic knowledge of industry terminology required.
· Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques to investigate quality or process problems, develop and implement countermeasures required.
· Basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and graphic design software (i.e. Adobe Illustrator) required.
· Must have excellent project management, communication (verbal and written), creative thinking, decision making, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
· Basic knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 preferred.
