An excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer in Northern Illinois (Not in Chicago).

Candidate will provide manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Candidate should have a 4-year bachelor's degree in technical / engineering discipline or other combinations of education, training, or experience to perform essential job functions. Candidate is required to have at least seven (7) plus years manufacturing engineering or manufacturing specialist experience in the appropriate technologies/production environment and twelve (12) plus years manufacturing engineering or manufacturing specialist experience in the appropriate technologies/production environment is highly desired. Other qualifications are excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with people, Solid Six Sigma knowledge and project planning tools with advanced knowledge with database management software. Also complete understanding of applicable manufacturing processes, advanced understanding of Root Cause Analysis, Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts, Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R and machine capability. Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving skills, strong computer skills, advanced programming knowledge of applicable software, highly energetic team player committed to process improvement and knowledge and experience in CAM programming software.
