Wage: $50,000 - $70,000

A local Aerospace Company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. A candidate for this position will be responsible for carrying out design and development assignments connected with manufacturing equipment and processes including: tools, jigs, and special equipment to achieve desired production rates and quality standards.

On a day to day basis, employees will investigate and analyze the cost and reliability of using various equipment and processes. Study performance and trouble in existing tools and equipment and recommend improvements through redesign or modification. Estimate costs of assigned projects together with a satisfactory delivery schedule. Follow up to see if schedules are met. Make layouts and detail drawings of equipment assigned. Evaluate various equipment and methods and points out advantages, disadvantages and production capabilities. Recommend the purchase items needed to keep equipment properly maintained. Check on process capabilities of equipment designed to see that it is properly maintained.
